Tribal Metamorphosis will be three days, February 6-8, 2009 featuring 15 hours of instruction for General Skills Certification from FatChanceBellyDance running five hours each day Friday through Sunday.
On Saturday, February 7, 2009, Tribal Evolution will be hosting the Tribal Metamorphosis Black and White Ball featuring special guests performances, strolling artisans, DJ and open dance floor and many more wonderful surprises throughout the evening. Please wear black, white or a combination of the two. Formal attire is not a requirement. Color code strictly enforced.
All activities will be held at the Plaza Arts Center (1115 Fourth Avenue, Carrollton, Texas 75006).
General Skills for ATS
A 15-hour intensive presenting all 70+ steps from the FCBD ATS vocabulary along with cues, formations, lead and follow, chorus, music theory for ATS and functional anatomy for dance taught by Carolena Nericcio.
Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of bellydance. Experience in ATS and Tribal Improv is a plus.Students must attend all 15-hours to receive certification, no exceptions.
After registering for the event, you will receive information detailing what moves will be covered during the intensive and other information regarding local amenities.
The official hotel for Tribal Evolution events is Rodeway Inn (1832 North I 35, Carrollton, TX 75006) and is the closest hotel to the venue. Please make reservations at your earliest convenience as this is a small hotel and will sell out quickly.
